Hey, I’m Andrea and if you’re here, I’m guessing life feels a little too much right now.
Maybe your brain won’t shut off. Maybe you’re overthinking every text you send, feeling like a fraud in your own skin, or just straight-up exhausted from trying to “be okay” when you’re not. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that never seems to chill, intrusive thoughts that make you question everything, or the aftermath of stuff you don’t even like to think about—you’re not alone. And more importantly, you don’t have to keep figuring it out alone.
I’m a therapist who gets Gen Z and millennials. I’m not here to judge, lecture, or hand you a worksheet and call it therapy. I’m here to hold space for the mess—the late-night spirals, the identity questions, the fears you don’t feel safe saying out loud. I specialize in helping Gen Z and millennial clients work through anxiety, OCD, and trauma using evidence-based approaches that actually work like EMDR, ACT, ERP, and mindfulness, but I’ll always show up as a real human first.
I know what it’s like to feel overstimulated in a world that never stops scrolling. My approach is collaborative, honest, and deeply respectful of the inner strength you already have (even if it doesn’t feel like it right now). You don’t have to be “healed” to start healing. You just have to be ready to take that first step and I’ll be here when you are.
Let’s make therapy a space where you feel seen, heard, and safe to figure out who you are beyond the fear.

While I am originally from St. Louis, MO, the Kansas City area has been my home for over a decade (which means I have a lot of red and blue professional sports teams to support). I love to dance whenever I get the chance and I'm an enthusiast for a good book series.
Between 2011 and 2021, I worked in an educational setting as a School Social Worker, providing therapy to students (ages 4-18) and counseling the adults who supported them. It became clear that the most effective way to positively impact children was to give the adults around them the proper education and support.
In my experience, many treatment modalities intertwine and work beautifully together. Depending on the specific need or circumstance, we might blend several types of therapy to establish strong roots so there are multiple fruits of your labor.
Virtual appointments offer maximum flexibility to fit into your schedule - as long as you are a resident of Kansas or Missouri, we can meet for therapy wherever you are, online!

Diagnosis can be an incredible tool, but sometimes it could come with unintended consequences, such as impacting access to certain secondary insurances like life or disability insurance.
Your therapy goals and treatment will be determined by you and me, not an insurance company (who sometimes have strong opinions on what is considered medically "necessary".)
Depending on insurance guidelines, they might place limitations on the total number of sessions allowed or even the length of an individual counseling session, which may not align with what works best for you.
Diagnosis, treatment goals, length of treatment, and even nature of issues seeking counseling are typically shared with your insurance (and anyone involved in processing and handling the claims) and future employers. However, there are limits to confidentiality - see below.
